Registration
To register for classes, email us at:
homegrownoutdoorpreschool@gmail.com with your name, your child's name and age and which class you are interested in. We'll then send you the application information to get started. Once we receive those we can move forward towards registration. There is a $65 registration fee AFTER your application has been accepted. This fee secures your spot in the class and helps pay for supplies.
It is important to have realistic expectations about what an outdoor preschool entails. So, please do a little soul searching. Do you feel like outdoor preschool is truly a place your child will thrive? Do they eagerly or begrudgingly get dirty? Do they play outside until their lips are blue and you have to coax them in the house, or do they run inside at the first drop of rain? It’s easy to romanticize the idea of an outdoor class when sunny, but the reality is, that’s only a portion of the time. It will be nearly impossible to conduct class if a child does not want to participate because of the cold. Together we will safeguard against this by preparing them mentally and with proper gear. Reitierate to your child that the preschool is outdoors. Be sure to include the many benefits.
